Mission
Religious, Moral & Spirituality
In 2003, Edwards discovered his ability to create plays and videos during a month of Ramadan. After reading chapter 72 in the Qur'an; he was then inspired to create a production called "A Company of Jinn."
Haywood Edwards III originally created his film for a Taleem (Qur'an Study) class and says that it's now his duty to GOD to share it with the world. Edwards feels that his film will help others learn more about the Muslim culture and religion. According to Edwards, his film explains how the spirits support mankind with spiritual guidance from the Qur'an and Muslim beliefs.
Additionally, Edwards believes his film will help illustrate and explain spirits and their connection to the Muslim community.
Haywood Edwards III was born in Chattanooga Tennessee and calls his experience growing up and going to school among his peers - misery. However, Edwards explains that all of the misery didn't take away from his desire and ability to learn. To establish a new life Edwards, later, moved to California where he took an oath of faith into the Muslim community in 1985.
Edwards hopes to join forces with other creators to bring more films and plays to fruition as he continues to build his brand. Filmmakers and producers are encouraged to contact Edwards for opportunities to create more engaging projects to expand his efforts in promoting the Muslim religion. Below is the film, in its short version for site visitors.
